Real Keyboard Tester runs entirely in your browser. The keys you press are read only to light up the matching key on screen. Nothing you type is recorded, stored, or sent to any server by this tool.

What we collect

The tool itself collects nothing. If analytics or advertising are added later, they may use cookies to count visits and show ads, and this page will be updated before that happens.

Local storage

The site saves only your display choices on your own device, such as light or dark mode, keyboard layout, and size, so the page looks the same on your next visit. You can clear this anytime from your browser settings.
